However, Shaq edges Muresan to the title of being the biggest basketball player of all time. While Muresan weighed in at 315 pounds (143 kg) and the next best to him was the Senegalese Tacko Fall weighing in at 311 pounds (141 kg) – Shaq has previously said that he weighed close to 395 pounds while winning his third ring for the Lakers.
