Skip Bayless mentions LeBron James’ performance in yet another defeat to the Heat as “a bit psychologically fatigued”
As LeBron James recently celebrated his 38th birthday and always speaks like a player who is dissatisfied enough to consider retirement, the NBA may be in for significant changes. Skip Bayless, though, sounds more startlingly like an analyst considering his connection with the NBA’s soon-to-be all-time leading scorer than James, who happens like a player thinking about retiring.
As James decides to retire, the NBA will undoubtedly miss him, but if Bayless ever decides to stop ranting about him pointlessly, the NBA might undergo a tremendous transition.
As the most vocal opponent of LeBron James, Skip has a lengthy history of doing so. And even though many of us stopped laughing at his misadventures years ago, it appears like Skip’s day of retribution may be drawing close. On Undisputed on Thursday morning, Bayless reportedly said that he’s also becoming weary of his LeBron impersonation.
Skip Bayless: Hater of LeBron James?
Prior to attacking LeBron for his postgame remarks on Wednesday night, Bayless remarked, “I’m a little worn out of beating up on LeBron, and I don’t really want to do it right now.” James also expressed his displeasure with the Los Angeles Lakers’ present situation following the team’s defeat to the Miami Heat, “Playing basketball at this level just to be playing basketball is not in my DNA. It’s not in my DNA anymore.”
James further added, “I think about how much longer I’m going to play the game. I think about that I don’t want to finish my career playing at this level from a team aspect.”
James becoming an easier target, therefore it’s possible that Bayless finds it less entertaining to attack him. LeBron is still fantastic, but being 38 years old, it’s much simpler to criticise him than it was when he was younger. By attacking LeBron, Bayless stops being the rebel.
