Nikola Jokic has taken NBA MVP candidacy by storm. After winning the Most Valuable Players award for the last two seasons, he is at it again in the 2022-23 season.

He took his appreciation towards Nikola Jokic to Twitter, comparing him to the likes of Michael Jordan and Shaquille O’Neal. He indicated that for a long time he could not see a player who caused trouble in opponent’s defense, regularly.

“I’ve been watching Jokic for six seasons now, I think the best thing I can say about him is I still have no idea how I would cover him. The two other times I’ve felt that was against Michael and Shaq.” He tweeted.

He is indeed a man who loves to create history. Nikola Jokic’s 10th triple-double of the season makes him the fourth player ever with 10-plus triple-doubles in 6 different seasons, joining Russell Westbrook, Oscar Robertson, and Magic Johnson.

Nuggets’ coach Michael Malone called his player a truly selfless superstar. Moreover, He added, “I know a lot of players that if they took five shots in 35 minutes would be (mad) right now. Nikola doesn’t care whether he takes five or 25. There’s not many guys like him that I’ve ever been around.”
