Is Dwight Howard done at the LA Lakers after Anthony Davis bust up?

The LA Lakers have had a very disappointing start to their 2021-22 NBA campaign and it seems to be getting worse. During the Lakers’ second game of this NBA campaign against Phoenix Suns, Dwight Howard and Anthony Davis had a bust up.

The duo were seen getting into a very heated exchange during a timeout and they had to be separated by their team members.

Although, Davis seems to be the aggressor, it is reported that Howard ignored Davis while they were heading down to the bench when Davis was trying to get his attention for some reason.

This could have a huge impact for the morale of the team as scuffles like these between teammates are never healthy. The Lakers went on to lose their second match as well after this bust up.

Is Dwight Howard done at LA Lakers?

A lot of speculations have aroused after the recent scuffle between Davis and Howard. The most prominent one of them being that of Howard leaving the Lakers. UFC legend Daniel Cormier has weighed in on the same and took to Twitter to share his thoughts. Have a look:

“Dwight Howard just got into a thing with Anthony Davis on the Laker bench during the timeout. Is it bad that I believe that we won’t be seeing Dwight in the purple and gold for much longer. I mean AD was pointing at him and everything as he backed away. Sheesh”

Cormier has elaborated what happened between the two Lakers’ players. He feels like Howard won’t be in the Lakers’ team for much longer after his bust up with Davis who is also one of the most important players in the team.

It will be interesting to see how things unfold moving forward. The fans would hope that these two resolve their differences as soon as possible.
