According to an NBA official, the Chicago Bulls might end up trading LeBron James

LeBron James‘ future with the Los Angeles Lakers will be intriguing to watch, especially if they miss the playoffs once more. James’ deal from this past summer prevents him from being traded during this season. A deal that would move LeBron James to the Chicago Bulls was suggested by an insider.

A contract between the Bulls and Lakers for the summer was proposed by David Aldridge of The Athletic. James is acquired by Chicago in exchange for DeMar DeRozan, Alex Caruso, and Patrick Williams. Anthony Davis and DeRozan together will strengthen the Lakers, according to Aldridge.

Williams still has the ability to develop into a truly excellent player, while Caruso’s homecoming with the Lakers will be welcomed by the fan base. The Bulls could pair Zach LaVine, Nikola Vucevic, and Lonzo Ball alongside James in the meantime. That could only happen if Ball emerges from his injury and Vucevic decides to rejoin the Bulls.

With a record of 20-25, LeBron James and the LA Lakers now occupy 13th spot in the Western Conference rankings. In a two weeks ago interview with ESPN’s Dave McMenamin, James revealed his dissatisfaction about losing games.

While Anthony Davis continues to recover from a foot ailment, James has been working hard to keep the Lakers ahead. Since turning 38 on December 30 of last year, he’s been killing it. In his last eight games, he has averaged 36.4 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 8.6 assists.

After yet another disastrous season, James has been widely rumoured to ask the Lakers for a trade. Although the Lakers are not in contention for the playoffs right now, they are only 2.5 games and 1.5 games, behind sixth place and the last play-in position, respectively.
