“Change is needed at all levels” – Chris Paul posts message after horrific video of Tyre Nichols death emerges

Once again the entire United States of America is shocked at another case of police brutality and how a man has lost his life because of it. This time the victim was 29-year-old Tyre Nichols, who was on the receiving end of 3 police officers vigorously beating him. As shocking as the statement might sound, Chris Paul came forward to reveal his and perhaps millions of other people’s true feelings on the incident.

As body cam footage and a traffic surveillance video went viral, millions across the world came to know the suffering and misery Tyre Nichols had to go through. This just angered NBA stars like LeBron James, Chris Paul, Mike Conley, and Robert Griffin III among many others, who could not believe the visual they were watching.

For those not in the know, Tyre Nichols was stopped for reckless driving, resulting to an initial confrontation. When Nichols fled on foot as multiple police officers tried to get physical with him, it led to a second confrontation as police caught up and arrested him.

Later on, he complained about shortness of breath, which is why he was taken to the hospital. Eventually, where all of us lost Tyre. On the same note, Phoenix Suns star Chris Paul came forward to reveal his true emotions.

Chris Paul shared his sympathies for the Nichols family and called for a change at “all levels.” The iconic point guard urged officials to take strict actions on stopping such police brutalities around the country.

“Change is needed at all levels and we all need to do our part. We can’t lose our humanity as a society. To the Nichols’ family and Memphis community, my heart is with you tonight,” Paul wrote.
