Kareem Abdul-Jabbar previously asserted that he would be thrilled if LeBron broke his scoring record. Abdul-Jabbar stated that when great records are broken, the game “will always improve” and praised LeBron James for working “extremely hard to reach this far.” James has made it a priority to keep his body in shape and retain his endurance, and that work will undoubtedly pay off when he succeeds to smash the scoring record.
