The Golden State Warriors continued to go after the experts on television who claimed that the team’s championship window had closed. Firstly it was Stephen Curry who spoke to the media and talked about it.

Later Draymond Green continued it in his podcasts and wherever he went. Now it was the turn of Klay Thompson who didn’t shy away from taking shots at the ‘so-called experts’. On his, Instagram live he went to talk about them and claimed his team was able to still win the championship.

He rounded up by saying, “[You can’t trust experts because] they literally said we were dead in the water. I know it hurt them. It hurt them bad.”

Many people doubted the Warriors throughout the season, but they didn’t back down. They won another championship, continued their dynasty, and proved to people that they are able to win without Kevin Durant as well.

Klay Thompson had a huge impact on the Warriors’ run to the championship

The Golden State Warriors missed Klay Thompson for the past two years. His presence is immense for this team, and it was seen this year.
