Is the NBA star, Stephen Curry being considered underrated?

According to an NBA analyst, Steph Curry should be commended for giving Kevin Durant the spotlight. Brian Windhorst, the ESPN commentator, said Stephen Curry was “extremely underrated.” He followed by praising him for his continual readiness to step aside and allow Durant to take the initiative.

With a strong squad, Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors won the NBA championship in 2022. It appears that Steve Kerr and the front office are willing to trade Kevin Durant in order to strengthen the squad even further.

Given the controversy that followed Durant’s departure from the team in 2019, it seems improbable that he will join the Warriors. Curry, though, is a great human being, and the fact that the Warriors’ star is open to the idea of it occurring says a lot about him. “Steph Curry is so incredibly underrated because forget about everything he does on the court for the sake of this conversation…Steph Curry’s willingness to take a back seat in 2017 to Kevin Durant.”

Brian Windhorst opinion on Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors

According to Windhorst, Curry’s willingness to engage in a five-minute discussion on the possibility of Durant joining the Warriors says a lot about him.

Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry and his team have dominated the NBA for the previous ten years, capturing four championships in the last eight years. The Warriors have been in six NBA Finals over that period, losing twice to the Toronto Raptors and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The team has established itself as the league’s best throughout time. Windhorst concurs with Warriors owner Joseph Lacob’s assertion in the New York Times that they are far superior to the competition. The organization’s design and how they have historically taken advantage of opportunities, he claimed, serves as its proof.
