WWE superstar Batista is probably one of the best when it comes to wrestling. But do you know that The Animal has acted in several movies as well?
Dave Michael Bautista Jr., aka, Batista is one of the known faces in the WWE Universe, starting his wrestling career way back in 2002 with WWE. As a result, Batista has been a household name among the fans.
Dave is a six-time world champion which includes, four-time World Heavyweight Championship and two-time WWE Championship. Additionally, he has the longest reign with the World Heavyweight Championship of 282 days, and last but not least, he is also the winner of the 2005 Royal Rumble.
Batista began his acting career way back in 2006 and has starred in many movies like The man with the Iron Fists, Riddick, James Bond Film specter, and a lot more. He has appeared in a total of 29 movies.

1. Army of the dead (2021)
The Zack Snyder movie was released on Netflix on May 14, 2021. This is a zombie heist movie in which Batista played one of the lead roles. Following a zombie attack, he leads a group of maniacs who plan a casino heist in a quarantined Las Vegas.
WWE even promoted the movie during WrestleMania Backlash in The Miz vs. Damian Priest Lumberjack match where Zombies surrounded the ring.
2. My Spy (2020)
The American spy comedy was released on January 9, 2020, where Batista starred as a leader who plays a seasoned CIA agent who a nine-year-old Sophie blackmails into training her to be a spy.
3. Riddick (2013)
It was the third installment of the Riddick film series. The sci-fi action movie stars Batista along with Vin Diese. It is about Riddick battling alien predators for survival. The Animal plays the role of second-in-command as Diaz.
4. Stuber (2019)
Stuber was released on July 12, 2019. This movie is about a Uber Driver and his passenger, a cop named Victor, played by Batista, who hunts down a notorious drug lord who killed his partner.
5. Spectre (2015)
This movie was released on October 26, 2015, is a James Bond series movie. It features Daniel Craig as Bond, and Sam Mendes directs it. Batista plays the role of Mr. Hinx, who is a BIofeld assassin.
6. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.1 and 2 (2014 and 2016)
10th movie of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Guardians of the Galaxy, was directed by James Gunn and featured a cast of Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Batista, Vin Diesel as Groot, Bradley Cooper. This movie is also The Animal’s first Marvel movie, and he portrays the most famous role of Drax the Destroyer.
7. Blade Runner 2049 (2017)
This is a neo-noir sci-fi film released on October 6, 2017, a sequel to the 1982 film Blade Runner. Batista portrayed the role of Sapper Morton, an old Nexus-8 replicant and combat medic.
8. Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame (2018 and 2019)
Probably the biggest movies of that particular year, which makes the phase 3 Marvel movies a whole circle. Both the film was subsequently released, and Anthony and Joe Russo directed them.
Batista reprises his role of Drax in both the movies with a star-studded cast of Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, and Scarlett Johansson.
