Ha-Seong Kim is a South Korean-born professional baseball player who currently serves as an infielder for the San Diego Padres of Major League Baseball (MLB). Kim is a member of the San Diego Padres organization. Kim was born on October 17th, 1995 in the city of Seoul, in the South Korean country of South Korea.

Kim joined the Kiwoom Heroes in 2014, when he made his debut in the Korea Baseball Organisation (KBO), the top level of professional baseball in South Korea. Kim carved out a name for himself as one of the best players in the KBO throughout the course of his time there, being well-known for his outstanding offensive as well as defensive abilities.

On April 4, 2021, Kim became the first player from the KBO to play for the Padres in Major League Baseball. Kim was playing for the Padres at the time. His primary positions in the infield are second base and shortstop, but he has demonstrated versatility across the position spectrum.

Kim’s career in Major League Baseball got off to a sluggish start, as he hit just.176 in his first 45 games, with one home run and 11 RBI total. Ha-Seong Kim started his path to Major League Baseball (MLB) in South Korea, his home country. There, he spent his childhood playing baseball and finally became a top prospect in the Korea Baseball Organisation (KBO). Kim then moved to the United States.

At the age of 18, Kim debuted as a professional baseball player in the Korean Baseball Organisation (KBO) in 2014 for the Kiwoom Heroes. Over the course of the next several years, he solidified his position as one of the best players in the league, becoming well-known for his outstanding offensive and defensive abilities.

Kim had a breakout season in 2018 when she played in 144 games and had a batting average of.291 with 15 home runs and 84 RBI. After that, he had an even more successful season in 2019, during which he played 138 games and hit.307 with 19 home runs and 105 RBI.
