Originally from Morristown, New Jersey, He attended Perry High School in Gilbert, Arizona where his Basketball career ignited. He was productive and efficient on the court making him one of the top-performing players in his class. Not much is known about his time in High school but he started in the backcourt and as a freshman, he averaged 23 points per game so it can be said that he was a star player with stellar statistics and received offers from top-tier schools in the country. He averaged 16.9 points and 9.6 rebounds per game during his time in High school basketball. After wrapping up his high school career he committed to playing college basketball for Marquette University.
Entering through the doors as a freshman at Marquette University as a part of the Marquette Golden Eagles men’s basketball team, he wanted to dominate the court so he spent as much time as he could on the court and was hell-bent on improving his play and averaged 13.2 points per game.
