Rumours of a potential fight between social media star Logan Paul and Mike Tyson hit the internet a few months ago. There have been no developments in the fight ever since and it seems highly unlikely that the two will cross paths anytime soon. However, fans have been left questioning about the result of the possible matchup between ‘The Maverick’ and the former heavyweight champion.

It is really hard to pick a winner in this mega-fight because of one major factor i.e. age. The age gap between the two makes it very difficult to predict a winner. Paul is 26 and on the other hand, Tyson is 55. In a normal world, ‘Iron Mike’ would brutally hurt Paul in a fight, however, 29 years of age difference could highly affect the outcome.

While boxing pundits would suggest Tyson would beat Paul any day of the week and rightfully so, one shouldn’t forget the fact that Tyson is 29 years older than ‘The Maverick’. Paul’s youth can severely trouble Tyson, however, as per some of the training clips shared by Tyson’s camp, it is pretty evident that ‘Iron Mike’ still possess lethal power.

Until the two actually get in the ring, predicting a clear cut winner is not possible. It will be interesting to see whether Tyson and Paul actually agree to fight or not.

What did Logan Paul had to say about fighting Mike Tyson?

Interestingly, Paul is pretty confident that he could hurt Tyson because of the age difference between the two. ‘The Maverick’ has openly claimed that he thinks he could knock out ‘Iron Mike’.

“I’m telling you, I would f**king beat Mike Tyson. If people would watch that fight, then yeah, I do. He’s too old. He’s too old. We saw it with Floyd dude. There’s no f**king reason that I should’ve been able to last, not just last, Floyd’s on my highlight reel. There’s no reason that should’ve been possible. He’s aged, father time takes a toll on everyone. And Tyson’s what 56? Like what happens? I go in there and knock him out for what?” said Logan Paul

It is worth noting that Paul and Tyson have had a friendly relationship and ‘The Maverick’ feels like it’s not worth it to fight ‘Iron Mike’ who has ages significantly.

Is Mike Tyson returning to the ring?

Much like Floyd Mayweather, Tyson is also keen on returning to the ring. As per the reports, ‘Iron Mike’ was set to return to the squared circle in February. However, no developments have been made so far. His last match was against Roy Jones Jr back in 2020. Fans can certainly expect to see him fight once this year. But it remains to be seen as to who Tyson fights next if and when he returns to the boxing ring.
