Liv Morgan Career
Liv Morgan was discovered at Joe DeFranco’s gym in Wyckoff, New Jersey. She signed a contract with WWE NXT in the developmental territory and appeared on television for the first time in 2015 at NXT TakeOver with the ring name of Marley.
Morgan got her first win on NXT when she defeated Aliyah in a singles competition via submission. She also won some tag team matches on NXT.
On October 21, 2017, Morgan made her main roster debut alongside Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan attacking Becky Lynch and Naomi, establishing themselves as heels.
They form a squad together called the Riot Squad, who made their in-ring debuts for SmackDown by defeating Flair, Naomi, and Natalya in a six-woman tag-team match.
Liv made her WrestleMania debut at WrestleMania 34 when she participated in the 20-woman WrestleMania Battle Royal.
After Riott Squad and Ruby Saho’s release from WWE to AEW, Morgan returned to SmackDown singles competing against Carmella but lost the match after the disbanding.
In the recent September 17 SmackDown Live episode Liv teamed up with Toni Storm and defeated Zelina Vega and Carmella. She challenged Carmella to a match at WWE Extreme Rules, but she will face Zelina Vega next week on SmackDown.
Liv Morgan was able to capture the Money in the Bank briefcase at the 2022 edition of the event and later cashed it on Ronda Rousey, to win her fist world championship.
