Laura Sanko often posts photos and videos on social media and she seems to have picked up a bit of an injury as well
Laura Sanko has become one of the most recognisable faces in the world of MMA. The 40-year-old has surprised many with her MMA knowledge and is now a fixture in most UFC events.
The American was earlier a reporter but has now become a commentator for a few events. Sanko also has her own podcast and discusses some of the biggest MMA stories that are there.
However, she is also a regular at the gym. The 40-year-old has practised MMA for quite a while and even holds a 1-0 record in her career. That win came in Invicta in 2013 over Cassie Robb.
Sanko, however, hasn’t forgotten her MMA training and constantly uploads images and videos from those sessions. The 40-year-old recently did the same on her Instagram, and it seems that session didn’t go as planned.
Laura Sanko posted a picture of her driving back in a red t-shirt and it seems she picked up an injury near her eye. Her forehead also seems a little worse for wear but that could be just from tough training sessions.
Not the first time Laura Sanko has had to deal with such injuries
Sanko has to do video coverage for the UFC, and that means she has to look her best at all times.
That isn’t easy when it comes to having an event just a day or two after a sparring session. Those sessions don’t go as planned, and that was the case with Sanko a year back.
The 40-year-old posted a before and after photo of the damage done to her face and how she was fixed up by a make-up artist.
It really was an incredible bit of work by the make-up artist. Sanko’s black eye was concealed extremely well, and she was able to be part of the UFC Vegas show without anyone figuring out what had happened.
Sanko has done some incredible work in the UFC, and it will be interesting to see what else is on her plate in the coming months.
