Julius Erving had been playing with the American Basketball Association when he was picked in the 1971 NBA draft as the 12th pick in the first round by the Milwaukee Bucks. Julius was married to Turquoise Brown with who he had three children. Cory Erving, one of his sons died in a drowning accident at the age of 19 and their marriage eventually broke apart. By the divorce, he was already dating his young sweetheart Dorys Madden. Today Dorys and Julius live in a luxurious mansion, with their four children.
