WrestleMania 37 is around the corner and this offers us all a great chance to look back at 5 of the top superstars who have clocked the most time inside the ring at the Grandest stage of professional wrestling.
WrestleMania really is the Super Bowl equivalent of professional wrestling. And it would be nothing without the superstars that put the work in, play out the storylines to perfection, and give the fans an event to remember.
This list sees 5 of the biggest name in the sport. A few of them have called it a day, while the others are still going strong. Their names have become synonymous with WWE and professional wrestling, and one really cannot exist without the other.
So without further ado, here are the top 5 WWE superstars ranked in increasing order of the total amount of time they have spent in WrestleMania matches.

5. John Cena (246:31)
The poster boy of the promotion throughout the 2000s and 2010s was expected to be on the list. Well, so are the other 4 names, but if you started watching WWE after the mid-2000s, then John Cena is one wrestler you would have seen on every WrestleMania poster, whether you liked it or not.
And in that time since his recent inactive spell, Cena raked in over 4 hours of ring-time at WrestleMania. His first WM appearance came at WrestleMania XX where he beat The Big Show for the US title.
Cena’s most recent appearance at a WM event came in WrestleMania 36 against Bray Wyatt, where he lost. He is currently not scheduled to be at WrestleMania 37.
4. Randy Orton (250:17)
One name that can still add to his tally is that of Randy Orton. ‘The Viper’ has become fan favourite in the past decades regardless of him being a face or a heel. And in that time, he has given fans countless WrestleMania moments to remember, such as when he main-evented at WrestleMania 25 against Triple H for the WWE championship.
His first appearance at WrestleMania came all the way back in 2005 at WrestleMania 21 against The Undertaker. His feud with the Dead Man was legendary but he lost via pinfall after a deadly tombstone piledriver.
He has been a WM regular since then and will be at WrestleMania 37 as well when he takes on ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt in a culmination of their recent rivalry on RAW.
3. Shawn Michaels (372:30)
Now, this is where the list gets serious. The ‘Heart Break Kid’ Shawn Michaels is a WWE veteran who has spent over 2 decades in total with the promotion. His greatest WrestleMania moment unarguably came against The Undertaker at WrestleMania 25.
He may have lost that match, but his back-and-forth marathon with the Dead Man in that iconic is forever etched in everyone’s minds.
Michaels took a hiatus from WWE after that match which saw The Phenom extend his WrestleMania streak to 17-0. They then fought a rematch at WrestleMania 26, and the result was the same. This was also his last official WM match.
The last time he appeared in any capacity at the event was at WrestleMania 32 when he entered the fray in his in-ring attire to deliver a Sweet Chin Music to Alberto Del Rio and King Barrett.
2. The Undertaker (459:38)
You thought he would be #1 her, didn’t you? The Undertaker, in professional wrestling, quite simply equates to WrestleMania.
He has had a vastly successful and long stint at WWE but the aura of invincibility and fear around his name has only been instilled due to his insane WrestleMania streak. After he hit double figures for WrestleMania wins, WWE slowly started hyping up his unbeaten streak.
This reached its pinnacle around WrestleMania 25 through 28 where Shawn Michales and Triple H were hell-bent to end The Undertaker’s streak. He won every WM fight from WrestleMania VII to WrestleMania 29.
The streak ended at 21 fights at WrestleMania XXX to Brock Lesnar. The last appearance of his WWE career came in the showcase event itself last year when he beat AJ Styles in a Boneyard Match to finish his WrestleMania record at 25-2.
1. Triple H (475:56)
Close to EIGHT hours of WrestleMania action, WWE NXT CEO, Triple H, is the undisputed king of WrestleMania events; at least when it comes to most time spent inside the ring. His debut appearance at WrestleMania came all the way back in 1996, just one year after signing with WWF.
That match, which he lost in 1 minute 39 seconds to the returning Ultimate Warrior, is definitely not a fight that contributes a lot to his tally of 475 WrestleMania minutes.
He has the most losses at WrestleMania events with 13, but Hunter has given some memorable performances at the event for the fans to remember.
Apart from his tiff with The Undertaker, which gave us the most iconic WrestleMania match at WrestleMania 29, and Randy Orton as mentioned above, he also had some memorable WM victories such as the one against Goldust at WrestleMania 13. His last appearance at the grandest stage came at WrestleMania 35 where he beat Batista with assistance from Ric Flair.
