Jimmy Uso was born on the 22nd of August in 1985 to a famous father – Solofa Fatu (Rikishi). He is the older twin of Jey Uso. The brothers showed interest in football at a very young age, but gradually made a shift to wrestling because of their families’ wrestling background.
Today Jimmy and Jey are deemed as one of the most successful tag-team pairings in the history of the promotion.
WWE Career
Jimmy Uso began his WWE career alongside his brother Jey on the May 24, 2010 episode of RAW. The pair began their WWE career as a heel, and began a feud with the Hart Dynasty right away.
Three weeks later they made their in-ring debut on WWE Superstars. Slowly but steadily the pair began grabbing eyeballs, as they began challenging for tag-team titles in a couple of occasions. They also turned face in the process.
The pair then became a regular on NXT and were a part of the brand until 2013. It was in 2014 when the pair began receiving high-profile matchups. They began a feud with the Wyatt Family, The Shield (some of the popular factions of mid 2010s).
They won the WWE tag-team title for the first time in 2014, against the Outlaws.
In 2016, the Usos were shifted to the Blue Brand. The Usos defeated American Alpha in March 2017 to become the WWE SmackDown tag-team champions. They stayed in relevance until 2019, when they were shifted to RAW.
In 2020, the twins debuted a new short-hair look. Towards the end of the year Jimmy suffered an injury, and returned only on the 7th of May. He recently helped Roman Reigns, thereby turning heel in the process.
