Jack Reacher

Fans eager to see Jack Reacher back this year may not have to wait long; an Amazon Prime Video highlight reel released for Prime Day 2023 confirmed that the show would return in December; however, an exact date has not been given yet.

The second season will focus on Lee Child’s eleventh novel in his series: Bad Luck and Trouble. The original season adapted Killing Floor as its primary inspiration; future seasons may follow their books in any order but not chronologically.

Alan Ritchson will reprise his role of Jack Reacher, while the rest of the cast are entirely new. Maria Sten will reprise her role of Frances Neagley while Shane Langston plays David O’Donnell and Serinda Swan will portray Karla Dixon. Robert Patrick replaces Rory Cochrane as General Leon Garber a member of Reacher’s military police unit – other notable actors include Domenick Lombardozzi, Luke Bilyk Dean McKenzie Edsson Morales Andres Collantes Josh Blacker Shannon Kook-Chun and Ty Victor Olsson.

Frances Neagley

Following Amazon’s spectacular success with season one, Prime Video quickly renewed it for another installment. Shortly afterwards, they revealed that this chapter would adapt Lee Child’s Bad Luck and Trouble, the 11th book in Reacher series.

Maria Sten will return as Frances Neagley, an unexpected member of Reacher’s military police unit whom we first saw appear in Season One. Reacher often confides in Frances; in fact, she may even have his private phone number!

Yet other characters from the first season won’t return – like fan favorites Finlay (Malcolm Goodwin) and Roscoe Conklin (Willa Fitzgerald). But there will still be plenty of familiar faces such as Serinda Swan, Domenick Lombardozzi Ferdinand Kingsley Shannon Kook-Chun Luke Bilyk and Josh Blacker joining Serinda Swan as new cast members!

David O’Donnell

Amazon Prime Video’s series based on Lee Child’s Jack Reacher novels was an enormous success, featuring Alan Ritchson as its titular protagonist – an ex-military police officer with bulging arms who roams across America solving crimes by using them to solve cases.

Ritchson will return in Season 2, yet to be named, with Serinda Swan (Coroner) reprising her role of Karla Dixon from Reacher’s 110th Army unit, Rory Cochrane (Encounter) cast as Shane Langston working at a security company and Ferdinand Kingsley (The Sandman) taking the role of A.M (an Auxiliary Medical Technician who uses multiple aliases and can pass as anyone from any nationality).

Ty Victor Olsson from Wynonna Erp has been cast as Saropian, an infamous professional killer, while Josh Blacker from Suits will portray Hortense Fields a lieutenant colonel within the Army’s special investigations division. Luke Bilyk, Dean McKenzie, Edsson Morales Jorge Sanchez, and Shannon Kook-Chun round out this ensemble cast.

Shane Langston

Reacher was an enormous hit for Amazon Prime Video when its first season debuted, and the second is shaping up to be even better! The series follows a former military policeman framed for murder who uncovers a vast network of conspiracies within Margrave, Georgia. Alan Ritchson plays Jack Reacher while Maria Sten plays Frances Neagley; other cast members include Rory Cochrane as Shane Langston, Ferdinand Kingsley as A.M. and Serinda Swan as Karla Dixon.

Season 2 of Reacher will begin filming in New York City and follow a mystery that involves Reacher’s former Army cop colleagues. While Season 1 focused on adapting Killing Floor by Lee Child, Season 2 will instead adapt Bad Luck and Trouble. Furthermore, Reacher may become more personally invested this time around.

Karla Dixon

Reacher joins some of his former Army unit teammates upon his release from jail to investigate an increasingly deadly conspiracy that is picking off members one by one. These include military police members Frances Neagley (Maria Sten) and David O’Donnell (Shaun Sipos), along with special investigator Karla Dixon played by Serinda Swan. Newcomers to join include Rory Cochrane as Shane Langston; Domenick Lombardozzi as Guy Russo; Edsson Morales as Stan Lowery; Shannon Kook-Chun as Karla’s partner Tony Swan; Ferdinand Kingsley as A mercenary A.M.

Lee Child’s no-nonsense hero has returned for another season following Tom Cruise’s exit as protagonist, being taken over by actor Alan Ritchson instead. The show has received widespread acclaim due to its more book-accurate take and is widely considered among the best TV shows of this decade, showcasing both creator Nick Santora, star Alan Ritchson, and their team’s talents.
