Creed III – Plot
Donnie Creed sneaks out to watch his friend Diamond Dame fight in an underground boxing match in 2002 Los Angeles. During a detour at a liquor store, he impulsively attacks a man named Leon. In 2017, Donnie retires from boxing after winning a rematch against Pretty Ricky Conlan.
Three years later, Donnie manages Delphi Boxing Academy and promotes his protégé in a match against Viktor Drago while keeping watch over his adoptive mother’s declining health. After being released from prison, Dame reconnects with Donnie and expresses his desire for a title shot against Felix “El Guerrero” Chavez, but Donnie declines.
Dame cryptically tells Bianca about Leon at a party for her record label, just before Drago is attacked, casting doubt on his fight with Chavez. Donnie suggests Dame as an opponent, and he wins the undisputed heavyweight championship after fighting dirty.
Mary Anne passes away, and Donnie confesses to Bianca the truth regarding Leon. Donnie decides to challenge Dame for the championship after coming out of retirement, which he accepts.
Donnie uses Duke’s advice in the final round and defeats Dame to win the match and the championship, reconciling with him afterwards.
Any chances for Creed 4?
Yes, it is happening, the sequel to Creed IV will be happening soon. Jorden confirmed it by saying, “I just want to expand the Creed verse within reason, but definitely expect other things around Creed for sure.” There is a high chance the Fourth part will hit the screens in 2028.
Regardless of whether it will be released soon or delayed, Jordan plans to provide a fourth installment to this story that revolves around the offspring of Apollo Creed, played by Carl Weathers, who passed away in Rocky IV.
