Predicted Leicester City XI to face Fulham in the Premier League

Leicester City will take on relegation candidates Fulham as they try to make their case for the Premier League title. The Foxes have failed to win their last two league games but were on a three-game win streak prior to that.

Fulham have been near the relegation places without even one win in their last five games. Leicester might just get away with the win given their away form and Fulham’s overall form.

Team News

Brendan Rodgers will have one or two injuries to deal with when it comes to team selection. He will be missing the services of star striker Jamie Vardy and midfield engine Wilfred Ndidi. Nonetheless, a strong line-up is still expected to walk out.

Probable Leicester XI

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Kasper Schmeichel (GK)

Number one for the team, keeps his place between the sticks from the last game.

James Justin (LB)

Should keep his place at left-back and looks to have made it his own for the time being.

Wesley Fofana (CB)

The former St. Etienne man has settled in well at the club since his transfer.

Jonny Evans (CB)

The veteran centre-back recently returned to action and he is likely to partner Fofana in defence.

Ricardo Pereira (RB)

Should replace Castagne on his return to fitness. Was a huge miss during his absence.

Youri Tielemans (DM)

The Belgian is the heartbeat of Brendan Rodgers’ side. His passing and creativity are second to none in the team.

Nampalys Mendy (DM)

Will be a vital presence in the absence of Wilfred Ndidi. Needs to provide steel and protection to the side.

Marc Albrighton (RW)

Continues in his role from the previous game.

James Maddison (AM)

Another of Rodgers’ most important players, Maddison will have to play in his usual No.10 role and provide the creativity.

Harvey Barnes (LW)

A huge threat from the left, Barnes will once again be tasked to cause problems for the opposite number.

Kelechi Iheanacho (ST)

While Ayoze Perez deputised for Vardy in the last game, Iheanacho could be given a start this time around.
