After its explosive debut, EW has confirmed that season two of Hunters will premiere on January 13th.
In Season One, viewers were introduced to an international team of Nazi hunters led by Jonah Heidelbaum (Logan Lerman) and assisted by Meyer Offerman played by Al Pacino.

Hunters was widely criticised for its depiction of violence and similarities to Quentin Tarantino’s work during its initial season on Amazon Prime Video, yet renewed for another installment that will debut on Friday 13 January 2023. Al Pacino will return as Meyer Offerman/The Wolf while Academy Award-winner Jennifer Jason Leigh joins as cast.
The alternate history drama follows Jonah Heidelbaum (Logan Lerman), who leads a group of Nazi hunters led by Jonah. These individuals believe that Hitler is still alive and plotting a Fourth Reich in America; thus season two will focus on hunting down and stopping this dictatorial leader if possible.

Amazon Prime Video’s thriller-action series Hunters has generated considerable discussion since it debuted in February 2020 and concluded with major cliffhangers, such as discovering that Nazi leader Adolf Hitler was alive and planning an invasion of America through a Fourth Reich.
On Jan. 13 – the show’s last ever release – Season Two will premiere, EW reports. Meyer Offerman (Al Pacino) leads his group of Nazi hunters as they discover escaped Nazi officers are living among us and plotting a violent takeover. German actor Udo Kier will play Hitler, with Lena Olin reprising her role as Eva Braun/The Colonel wife Eva Braun.
Chutzpah will serve as a companion podcast that highlights remarkable accounts of heroism and resistance during the Holocaust. Greg Austin of Class and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt fame will play Travis who has been described as being “evil personified”. Pacino will return for season 2, best known for films like Raging Bull, The Godfather Part II, Carlito’s Way as well as Carlito’s Way; other returning cast members include Kate Mulvany as Sister Harriet; Josh Radnor as Lonny Flash; and Logan Lerman as Jonah Heidelbaum.

Hunters debuted its inaugural season in February 2020 and featured an ensemble cast of Nazi hunters led by Meyer Offerman (Al Pacino). Set during 1970s New York, this alternative history conspiracy thriller shows how former Nazi officers are conspiring to build a Fourth Reich within United States borders.
David Weil is the creator and executive producer of this series, along with Jordan Peele and Nikki Toscano. It is produced by Monkeypaw Productions and Halcyon Studios; other executive producers include Win Rosenfeld, Phil Abraham, Daria Polatin and Alfonso Gomez-Rejon among many others.
Holocaust survivor Ruth Heidelbaum and anti-Nazi activist Simon Wiesenthal serve as inspirations for this show, among many other real-life figures like them who appear on it such as Holocaust Memorial Museum director Raoul Paus. However, while a critic at Auschwitz Memorial Museum had issues with it – particularly a gory game of human chess featured in one episode – the show has still been renewed for another season and will pick up two years post finale of first season with Jonah gathering his team back together after learning from Jonah that Hitler is alive and planning his Third Reich to establish itself there.

Al Pacino plays Meyer Offerman in Amazon Prime Video’s series about him; his efforts in the 1970s to flush out Nazi infiltrators from America was seen by some as glorifying violence a la Quentin Tarantino. Season 2 will take place in 1979 and utilizes two timelines simultaneously, with Pacino battling an enemy that threatens to expose his past.
