This will also allow you to meet plenty of NPCs. NPCs sell weapons, equipment and spells. Apart from these, you can complete their quest lines as well. Some NPCs will be your companions and join your party. Asharak is an NPC from the Druid Grove world.

Asharak is a master of the Tiefling race. You can meet him from the game’s first act itself. Asharak doesn’t provide any assistance. But finding Asharak helps you unlock a chest. Asharak is often seen on the ground teaching his young Tieflings in Druid Grove. But he changes his location frequently and this makes it hard to find him. Here’s where you can find Asharak in Baldur’s Gate 3 and unlock treasure chest rewards.

Baldur’s Gate 3 Asharak Location & More!

Asharak can be spotted near Emerald Grove in the first act. You can meet him near the Emerald Grove where he will be seen along with his junior Tieflings. He is a master who possesses great knowledge and skills. You can meet Asharak and start a small interaction which will also reveal his fighting skills. You have to select an answer for his question. The options will be,

Asharak Master
  • Soak the battlefield with blood. Do not resist death, but embrace it
  • Be Strong and watch over your kin. In trust there is victory
  • They’re just children  why are you teaching them to fight

You have to choose one among these answers and this will also help you to progress in Asharak’s storyline. Again, you can meet him at the Hollow in Grove. This time, your attention will all be all eyes on the Gilded treasure chest behind him.

The only way to open the chest is to go in group and divert him for a while. Your party member has to initiate an interaction and while doing so, you can distract him and other characters can go into stealth mode and open the mysterious chest.

The chest will unlock rare resources and experience points. If you are lucky enough, there will be some gold as well. That’s how you can deceive the teacher, Asharak, and unlock the chest in his location. Asharak doesn’t provide any help and he’s only an NPC in early stages of the game.

Many NPCs of Baldur’s Gate 3 will turn as companions in some chapters. There’s no clarity on whether Asharak will be a companion or he will continue to remain as a Tiefling Teacher throughout the game.

That’s everything you need to know about finding Asharak in Baldur’s Gate 3. Every NPC helps in different ways. You have to impress them during your interaction. Negotiating with NPCs will get you more deals in the game.
