Who is The Enduring?

Azurekka, known more commonly as simply The Enduring, is a character in Horizon Forbidden West. She has survived all of her loved ones, including her squad, children, and grandchildren. Azurekka is one of the oldest Tenakth alive. Her plight led her to become a recluse, as being around others only reminded her of what she had lost.

She has trained a great number of Tenakths throughout her long life, including Hekarro himself, and soldiers who have successfully completed all three training pits. Regalla was the only person she ever rejected since she could tell that she was too obsessed with rage to listen to any advice. So, how to beat the Enduring? This character who has trained many will now face you. Are you ready to face her? Read the guide below to know how to beat the Enduring.

How to Beat the Enduring: Before the fight

As part of Horizon Forbidden West, you must reach the settlement known as Chainscrape in order to obtain the Enduring. A Pit Master will be waiting for you upon your arrival, and he will give it to you after you defeat three other Pit Masters from Scalding Spear, The Bulwark, and Thornmarsh. Keep in mind that before speaking with the Pit Master, you will need to defeat the other three Pit Masters. You can advance with the Errand in Chainscrape after defeating the three Pit Masters and receiving their corresponding Marks.

How to Beat the Enduring

Beating the Enduring is not an impossible task. However, you will have to be very careful and take your time if you want to win. Besides being an errand, The Enduring is also the name of a seasoned warrior as we already mentioned in the beginning. You must defeat her to complete the quest. However, be prepared to be obliterated if you are not fast enough to stop her attacks.

Block Breaker Combos (R1, R1, R2), as well as Resonator Blasts, are essential to maximizing your chances of survival. In order to deal sufficient damage with your bow, you must maintain pressure and build up Energy for your spear in order to shoot with it powerfully.

Enduring can be very quick, so you should dodge as often as you can. If you need more time to move around the arena, simply press L1 to bring up your inventory screen. This will allow you more time to react to enduring attacks.
