After spotting Ogre you will have a chance to eavesdrop on two grunts. Here you would get to know that Chained Ogre is very vulnerable to fire and could prove as a good choice of weapon. Now let’s see how to use fire against Chained Ombre.

Here you will have to use your Prostehtic – that is Flame Vent Prosthetic tool. This tool serves as a short-range, short-burst flamethrower. Now, throw oil which you will find easily if you don’t have it, and then finally make use of Flame Vent Prosthetic to blast the chained Ogre with fire and set them able for longer. This fire would last longer because of the oil you threw at them so that you can take a breather now. Wait for him to move, then hit him with the Flame Vent as soon as he does to knock him out and set him up for more hits.

The Ogre’s first of his two Deathblow marks can be acquired by backstabbing him. If he notices you, run after him as quickly as you can before he escapes to pull the backstab.

While you fight with Ogre you will need to have space management. If you are cornered and far from him, it could cause problems, so we advise you to stay close to it while attacking Ogre. When you find yourself in a tight spot, utilize one of the many surrounding grappling spots to escape from him and move to his opposite side. Then, slowly back away to invite more strikes, dodge, hit him briefly, and repeat

When chained Ogre is on fire it will receive good damage and he will be stunned for a few seconds. When he is weak you can use this time to attack him by hitting him two or three times.

Now if you are wondering where to find these prosthetic items like the Flame vent tool you can find it in the Hirate Estate area. You can reach here by snatching the bell charm from the blind lady that you will come across before you reach where the Ogre is. You will have to show this charm to the golden Buddha insider when you reach the Dilapidated Temple.

These are all the things to keep in mind if you are going to take on your first boss fight against Chained Ogre. Make sure you use the best use of the space you have and you can even trick Chained Ogre using this space, apart from that keeping in mind that fire is its weakness, make sure you keep the above things handy. If you are equipped with all of those things and have good attacking skills, you are all set to fight Ogre. That’s it pull up your socks and go on to take the battle, All the best for your first fight in Sekiro.
