How to beat Talus in Tears of the Kingdom
You will encounter this new boss in the game of Legend of Zelda:Tears of the Kingdom. This is the boss you will come across first in the game. So you should know it’s exact location where it’s resided to go in ther and take it down.
You can find Talus in the East of Hyrule as and you will find a great big battle Talus stomping around the north of side of the bridge. It has got three Bokoblins riding around on some makeshift catwalk stop it and they are ready to use ranged Attacks on you as soon as draw near.
In this instance when you know where it is and have The Upper Hand,we recommend sticking to higher ground for the major battle. We suggest take this fight to the higher ground as the key of this battle is smashing the dark mineral deposit on the top of your enemy.
Deal with Bokoblins first by picking it off with arrows and then focus your fire on that mineral deposit to bring down Tallus’ health.
Once all of the extra foes have been defeated, the Ore Deposit located somewhere on the Talus is attacked. If possible, build a fire in some close grass and use the paraglider to create a Link.
This will make it easier to jump atop the Battle Talus and attack the Ore Deposit with a powerful melee weapon. Other means, such as a Rocket fused to a Shield can also be utilized to propel Link. In either case, Link needs to climb off the ground and onto the Talus.
Watch out for the thrown rocks from the Talus and a few arrows from the Bokoblin will be at you. You can even fuse some bomb flowers to your arrows that will make short work of this miniboss.
When you get close to the Ore Deposit, equip one of Link’s stronger melee-smashing weapons and keep attacking. It may take several attempts to jump up on the Talus, attack the Ore Deposit, and be shaken off before the entire health bar runs out, but keep trying. Link must destroy that Ore Deposit if the Battle Talus is to be killed.
The Battle Talus enemies are typically a group of generic Bokoblins that can be easily destroyed. However, unless forced off, they will not usually come to attack with melee weapons, thus Link must be on the lookout for ranged attacks. We recommend you equip a Bow that can fire many arrows at once if Link owns one. Thankfully, Zelda: tears o the Kingdom has brought the Fuse mechanism through which you can make your arrows. So, make use of this feature and fuse Bomb Flowers onto the arrows and fire them directly into the centre of the Battle Talus. If you’re lucky, this will swiftly destroy the most, if not all, enemies. Repeat until all of them are destroyed.

You can stun the Talus with a shot on its weak spot then when it takes a break to restore its energy. This is your chance to run over and use Ascend to blast yourself at the top to carve it with the Melee of your own choice. It won’t take you long to reduce his health bar and collect the shiny awards it beholds. Talus has exploded in a blast of purple smoke and dust.
