Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal played out an exhibition match in the 2020 Match for Africa

Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer put on a clinic for the thousands of fans in the stadium and millions watching from around the globe in the 2020 Match for Africa.

The 2020 Match for Africa featured two games, one involving the two tennis greats in a singles clash.

The other was a mixed doubles match with Trevor Noah teaming up with Nadal and Bill Gates joining forces with Federer.

There were some hilarious moments in both games but the singles clash was on everyone’s mind.

Federer vs Nadal has been an intense rivalry over the years, and they put on a fantastic show.

Both players brought out their full arsenal in South Africa and there were some incredible shots too.

One shot, in particular, got social media talking as Nadal and Federer fought it out in the nets.

It seemed the Swiss got the better of Nadal with a lob but the Spaniard, somehow, contorted his body in midair and sent an overhead smash past Federer.

Nadal spun 360 degrees in the air and he smashed the ball over his head with his back turned towards Federer.

The Swiss ace was left stunned by the effort and could only smile, similar to what Nadal was doing.

Federer gets the better of Nadal

This match was never about who wins but more about the casue. The Roger Federer Foundation has raised millions over the years to help children, and the Swiss came out on top in this clash.

He won the best-of-three set match 6-4, 3-6 and 6-3 and Federer is yet to lose a Match for Africa since the start of the special event.
