The developers of Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd are releasing a new game called Honkai Star Rail. Here is everything you need to know about Mihoyo’s latest RPG game.
Honkai Star Rail’s official website has gone live, with miHoYo confirming a return to the Honkaiverse. Over the last few months, there have been leaks about a Chinese corporation working on a new open-world project. That was the case until recently when a significant reveal was made with the release of a new trailer and official gameplay and character footage.
While the game is still in development, this is still a closed beta, thus none of the content, features, or gameplay mechanics seen during the beta reflects the final product. All the interested players will be able to participate in the closed beta for free; however, there are a few crucial details that you should be aware of prior to the beta.
Honkai Star Rail Beta
Anyone with a PC, iPhone XR/XS or later, or iPad with an Apple A12 Chipset or later can sign up for the Star Rail beta, according to miHoYo’s HoYoLAB forum post. To sign up for the beta, you’ll need your miHoYo account ID, and once that’s done, miHoYo will choose participants at random from those who have signed up.
Those interested in participating in the closed beta of Honkai: Star Rail can do so by going to the official Honkai Star Rail website and selecting the “Enter Sign-Up” option. As the selection process begins, fill out and submit the form provided.

Honkai Star Rail Release Date
As of now, mihoyo has not revealed any official release date for the upcoming RPG game. Mihoyo will release additional information about the game and release date as the closed beta of the game wraps up.
Honkai Star Rail Gameplay
Mihoyo’s new RPG game will have a similar aesthetic to the original Honkai Impact 3rd game. From the first details revealed by Mihoyo and the leaks found by the fans, it looks like the game will have a different combat system. The game will have a traditional turn based combat system similar to various other RPG games.
