It is hard to argue that there is any other player in modern-day NBA as good as Slovenian International Luka Doncic, who has been single-handedly leading the Dallas Mavericks as a legitimate title contender for several seasons. Having to make his way from Euro League, Doncic knew just what ingredients were required to make it big in the NBA, something which all of us can see now.
However, while on one hand Doncic was focused upon improving his scoring abilities and versatility, he did seem to have caught the admiration for one of Hollywood’s finest divas – Jennifer Aniston as well. Yes! The same actress who made her name via billion-dollar worth series F.R.I.E.N.D.S. To make matters clear, Luka had her name right on the tip of his lip before entering the league in 2018.
Now, lets turn back the history pages to 2018 when Doncic was one of the Top 5 young prospects. Now in an exclusive segment with Bleacher Report, the former Real Madrid scorer was asked about his mindset and insight of what was required to be an NBA star. Just as the Slovenian was revealing his insights o the lines of winning the ROTY accolade, he blatantly fired a shot to capture Jennifer Aniston’s attention.

Luka Doncic said, “I am going to shoot my shot. Hey Jen, you up?” This was after the Slovenian mentioned his goal to feature in a Drake song. Along with this, Doncic also mentioned that his dream car was a Porsche 911. But perhaps by then the media had already caught their headline of him having huge admiration for the Hollywood actress.
That being said, in an interview with Sports Illustrated, the young basketball prodigy (at that time) even revealed that he was a huge fan of the ‘Friends’ show. Perhaps now you know just how Doncic had developed this fascination for Aniston.
