Celtic have reclaimed their throne as the best football club in the Scottish Championship. Scoring 63 goals and conceding just 36, the Bhoys dazzled their way to win the title with 82 points in total. The Brendan Rodgers era has been an exciting and adventurous journey so far for the fans and the former Liverpool manager will now be looking to make a few additions to the squad before the start of the new campaign.
Rodgers must also work towards improving the club’s poor Europan exploits. And the Northern Irish coach will definitely require a few additions to the squad to do so.

Christian Benteke (Crystal Palace)
The Belgian striker endured a dismal campaign with the Eagles, scoring just 3 goals and providing 5 assists in 31 league games. The former Liverpool striker has fallen down the pecking order since the arrival of Norwegian striker Alexander Sorloth in the January transfer window.
The sizzling form of Wilfried Zaha has also kept Benteke away from the matchday squads. Hence, a move to the Scottish Premiership could help Benteke revive his career. The striker was once one of the most feared strikers in the Premier League and he could make the same impact in Scotland.
Divock Origi (VFL Wolfsburg)
The striker has shown glimpses of his talent during his time at Liverpool. However, he was sent out on loan to Lille first and later Wolfsburg. The Belgian striker only managed to score 6 goals from 22 appearances in the Bundesliga. But he could restart his career by moving to Scotland. At the age of 23, the striker still has his best years ahead of him.
Joe Allen (Stoke City)
Rodgers and Allen go way back. After all, he was the one to bring the midfielder to Liverpool during his time at the club. Although Allen endured a relatively quiet and inconsistent spell, the player does lack talent.
With Stoke City relegated from the Premier League, Allen must be open to the prospect of moving to a top side that offers regular game time and the advantage of playing in the Champions League.
