Meanwhile, Oscar Otte battled hard against Karen Khachanov in the quarterfinals to win 4-6, 7-6 (7-5), 6-4 on Friday. The German had to fight back after losing the first set. Otte began his campaign with a rather comfortable straight-set win against Miomir Kecmanovic. In the second round, Otte had defeated Nikoloz Basilashvili 4-6, 6-0, 7-6 to advance to the quarters. Otte has racked up 50 aces already in the tournament and will need to be at his best when he faced Medvedev on Saturday.
