Guenther Steiner Career
Guenther Steiner is one of the most well-known names in the Formula One circuit. He is currently the team Principal of Haas F1 team. He has previously been associated with other F1 teams like Jaguar Racing and Red Bull in various administrative roles.
Steiner began his career in the late 80s as a mechanic in the World Rally Championship. The Italian made his big move to F1 in 2001, when he was appointed as the team Principal of the Jaguar Racing team. However, Steiner’s tenure with Jaguar was reduced to a very short one after the team didn’t quite perform as per expectations.
After his not-so-successful stint with Jaguar, Steiner joined Red Bull in 2005 as technical operations director. His tenure with Red Bull ended in 2008. Steiner joined Haas in 2014 as Team Principal.
