The Circus

THE CIRCUS returns for its sixth season with six Emmy Award nominations and features John Heilemann, Mark McKinnon, Jennifer Palmieri and Alex Wagner as it takes viewers behind the scenes and beyond the headlines as America enters an uncertain period in its politics.

This show explores the battle for Senate control from Georgia and Ohio perspectives, with Democratic Representative Tim Ryan facing off against an emerging Republican challenger while Republican Senator Raphael Warnock attempts to stave off primary challenge from Herschel Walker, both currently elected representatives in their states.

In this episode, Octavia steals the Grimoire and events quickly unfold. Striker kidnaps Stolas to carry out Stella’s plan; Moxxie and Millie decide to battle Striker and save Stolas from death.

The Circus also follows exciting developments from the House committee investigating forces behind the Jan. 6 insurrection, such as their vote to hold two of President Donald Trump’s aides in contempt and gaps in White House call logs on that fateful day of Capitol attack. Furthermore, The Circus travels to Pennsylvania for a crucial Senate race where Democratic Lt. Gov. John Fetterman attempts to stave off Republican candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz. Additionally, its coverage highlights this state’s growing culture war and quickly escalated disagreement with Disney.

The Divorce

Helluva Boss episode 7 premiered nearly one year ago, but Helluva Boss finally returned this month with its Hazbin Hotel spin-off on YouTube only hours ago and has already generated an overwhelming response. Creator Viviene “Vivziepop” Medrano promises her audience something spectacular; audiences seem eagerly awaiting it.

The plot of the first episode centers around Frances, who decides to divorce her husband against advice from her friends. Unfortunately, however, she quickly realizes that ending years of marriage won’t be so simple after all. The episode features an eye-catching visual style reminiscent of other work by Vivziepop as well as an energetic battle scene that provides plenty of comic relief.

Background art for this episode makes reference to both Holly’s Wood, as well as Lovecraft’s Azathoth’s Tears; it is also meant as a mockery of real-life Instagram trends such as using “depressed” text in one’s bio.

This episode is short and sweet, featuring only two plotlines: Stella and Stolas discussing their divorce while Striker kidnaps Stolas to their hideout in order to take him away; Blitzo and Millie fight him back but ultimately fail in getting Stolas back from them – who then manages to escape once more.

Western Energy

Helluva Boss, created by Vivienne “VivziePop” Medrano as a spin-off from Hazbin Hotel and released online in November 2019 to great acclaim, is an adult animated musical web series that quickly rose in popularity over time, earning millions of views per episode on YouTube and becoming one of its most famous and well-loved animated web series on YouTube. So far seven episodes have been produced with plans underway for its second season release.

This show follows three imps and their hellhound secretary as they operate an I.M.P.s (Immediate Murder Professionals) business that specializes in killing those whom have wronged them in life – particularly their loved ones – for an additional fee. Their services provide immediate justice against living persons whom have done wrong to them in life; often through rapid-fire cutaways and insult comedy that gives it a mean-spirited, Family Guy vibe.

Though only released for a short while, Episode Two has already earned over 4 Million views on YouTube – an exponential jump compared to its debut which garnered only 1 Million.

While not a typical Helluva Boss episode, this special does introduce several new characters. These include Mammon, Prince of the Greed Ring; Moxxie and Fizzarolli’s musical special; as well as Blitzo and Stolas’ contentious relationship being explored further.

Queen Bee

Helluva Boss by Vivziepop may have premiered back in 2015, and is back for its second season with new episodes and bloodier violence! An adult animated comedy-drama spin-off of Hazbin Hotel featuring three imps–at the bottom rung of hell’s hierarchy–who run their own assassination business for souls of humans who seek revenge against those still living. There is lots of black humor and bloody violence throughout.

Helluva Boss episode “Queen Bee” stars Blitzo, his weapons specialist Moxxie and receptionist hellhound Loona as well as Mammon, Prince of the Greed Ring – creator Vivienne Medrano has hinted this could mark a shift into an eerie season.

Medrano has been posting behind-the-scenes footage for this episode on her Twitter account and recently revealed that there will be a special guest voice actor appearing.

Conclusion

Helluva Boss episodes also include musical numbers. However, unlike traditional musicals like those found in Hazbin Hotel, Helluva Boss features songs that exist within its universe: characters sing commercial jingles or stage performances or even an epic lullaby ever heard! Some episodes even include hallucinatory Disney Acid Sequences!
