The Genshin Impact anniversary events are here and you will need to find all the Moonlight Seeker all across Liyue in specific locations. The event has several stages and runs from September 27 to October 11. At the time of writing, the only one available is in the ‘Path of Stalwart Stone,’ but you can get a cool claymore weapon as a reward. Here’s how to start the Genshin Impact Moonlight Seeker event and complete the first stage with 100% collection progress.
How to start the Genshin Impact Moonlight Seeker event
You need to be Adventure Rank 28 (or above) and have completed ‘Chapter 1: Act 3 – A new Star Approaches’ and ‘Trulla Chapter: Act 1 – Mondstadt Gastronomy Trip’ to access the quest needed to unlock the challenge. If you meet all the above requirements you can start with the event – Moonlight Merriment: Part 1 and The Many Matters of the Moonchase Festival. To begin the event talk to Linyang in Liyue Harbour.
Moonlight Seeker locations
To complete the Moonlight Seeker event you will have to collect Moonchase Charms and Mystmoon chests from specific areas. The event will have three stages. Currently, only the first stage is unlocked. You can speak to Linyang every day to get clues about the locations for the Moonchase Charms and Mystmoon chests. You can also check the location map here
Genshin Impact also has an interactive map which is very useful to mark all the locations of the Moonlight seeker. You can find it here. Players should note that some of the Mystmoon chest locations will have some enemies that you will need to battle. You can get the chests and the rewards after you defeat them.
Genshin Impact Moonlight Seeker Event Rewards
Successfully completing the event grant you some nice rewards including Luxurious Sea Lord Claymore, Mora, Primogems and weapon enhancement ores. The Luxurious Sea Lord Claymore can only be obtained after completing 100% of the event.
Luxurious Sea Lord Claymore
- Base ATK: 41
- ATK: 12.0%
- Oceanic Victory: Increases Elemental Burst DMG by 12%. When Elemental Burst hits opponents, there is a 100% chance of summoning a titanic tuna that charges and deals 100% ATK as AoE DMG. This effect can occur once every 15 seconds.
Players can also collect the refinement material required through this event.
