Gage Goldberg’s father Goldberg is one of the well-known wrestlers in WWE history. He made his pro-wrestling debut in the year 1996, during his NFL injury rehab. Goldberg had been an NFL player, prior to that.
Goldberg was born on the 27th of December in 1966 to parents Jed Goldberg and Ethel Goldberg. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Having plied his trade for 5 years in the WCW (World Championship Wrestling), Goldberg moved to the All Japan Pro Wrestling, where he stayed for a year.
In the year 2003, Goldberg made his WWE debut and was a part of the promotion for not more than a year. However, in such a short span of time, Goldberg still won the WWE Universal Championship, and held it for quite a long time.
He then announced his retirement from professional wrestling, and returned to the wrestling circuit after 11 long years (at Legends of Wrestling).
A year late he made his WWE comeback (in 2016) and began a feud with Brock Lesnar. Goldberg defeated Lesnar that same year at the Survivor Series, in less than 100 seconds.
One of the main reasons Goldberg returned to the WWE was – his son could see him wrestle on a big stage.
At WWE Fastlane in 2017, Goldberg defeated Kevin Owens, to win the WWE Universal Championship, but went on to lose the same to Lesnar at WrestleMania 33, following which he once again bid adieu.
In 2018, Goldberg was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, and since then he has made only a few appearances, although he is still a part of the promotion on a part-time deal.
Gage Goldberg’s mother Wanda Ferraton was born in 1970 to parents Allan Ferraton and Gwen Werbeski. She was born in Saskatchewan, Canada. Ferraton has four siblings.
Prior to her marriage to Goldberg, Ferraton was working as a stunt driver. She met Goldberg in the sets of Santa’s Slay that had Goldberg as the protagonist.
Gage Goldberg Career
Gage Goldberg is just starting out as a baseball player. He represents LBC AMERICAN – CUMMINGS of Texas at the high school level.
Gage has made cameo appearances in the WWE as well. His first WWE appearance came in the year 2016, at the Survivor Series when his father demolished Brock Lesnar in a minute.
He then appeared in a few main events involving his father. More recently, Goldberg returned to the WWE and began a feud with Bobby Lashley and MVP.
He expressed his desire to lay his hands on Lashley’s WWE Championship, even as an unrecognizable Gage watched as one of the audience.
On the 21st of August, 2021 at SummerSlam, Goldberg took on Lashley for the WWE Championship. Lashley who was accompanied by MVP, attacked Goldberg with his cane (Right on his knee). Lashley began doing the same as well.
Goldberg ended up losing the contest, and in came Gage rushing to his father’s aid, after the match. A ruthless Lashley then put Gage in a Hurt Lock, almost rendering him unconscious, with his father Goldberg fuming helplessly.
Since then, Goldberg has been out seeking vengeance.
Gage plays as a catcher for the LBC AMERICAN – CUMMINGS, and was recently featured on the 25th of July against the Dallas Tigers 2024.
He is currently scouted by Baseball factory. It is a United States-based company founded in 1994 that helps to spot baseball talents in high school and focusing on developing them.
