Sony has announced the list of free games coming to Playstation Plus in December 2021. Check out the complete list here.
The PlayStation Plus games for December 2021 have been revealed, with three titles available for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 users this month. Godfall: Challenger Edition, Mortal Shell, and Lego DC Super-Villains will be accessible to PS Plus users starting December 7.
In addition to the PlayStation Plus games for the month, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 owners will receive access to PlayStation VR titles such The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, The Persistence, and Until You Fall until January 3 as part of the platform’s fifth anniversary celebrations.
In a blog post, Sony unveiled the PS Plus December games, as well as the PlayStation VR titles. According to the corporation, PS5 and PS4 owners will have to add these games to their libraries before January 3.
Godfall: Challenger Edition free on Playstation Plus for December 2021
Godfall: Challenger Edition is the first game revealed for PlayStation Plus in December, and it will be available for both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 players. The fantasy action role-playing game (RPG) offers hand-to-hand fighting and three modes – Lightbringer, Dreamstones, and the Ascended Tower of Trials – with maxed-out characters and post-game extras. This means that the Challenger Edition will not have access to the original Godfall campaign, which will need the purchase of the Deluxe Edition.
Mortal Shell free on Playstation Plus for December 2021
Mortal Shell is the next game, a single-player RPG set in the future that will seem familiar to fans of Dark Souls. In a world where mankind has faded away, the game offers a protagonist who can inhabit “shells” or bodies. To complete the game, players must fight and use these shells with talents such as hardening (in the lack of shields), as well as survive and win battles.
Lego DC Super-Villains free on Playstation Plus for December 2021
Last but not least, PlayStation Plus subscribers can play Lego DC Super-Villains, a PlayStation 4 game. The game allows users to design their own supervillain and play alongside The Joker, Harley Quinn, and other Injustice League villains in an open-world game set in the DC universe. After the Justice League vanishes, players will have to figure out what the Justice Syndicate, a new organization of superheroes, is up to.
These were the games that will be available for Playstation Plus users for December 2021. From December 7 through January 3, all of these games will be available. Knockout City, First Class Trouble, and Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning, which were all free in November, are still accessible until December 6. Until January 3, 2022, PlayStation VR owners can get their hands on Firesprite’s The Persistence, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, and Until You Fall.
