Mick Schumacher was brilliant at the recently concluded Turkish GP qualifying

Mick Schumacher brought laurels to the Haas F1 team after finishing at P14 – Q2. This might look average in the eyes of the casual, but to do that with a Haas – simply incredible.

This was the second time Schumacher reached Q2 after having done the same at the French GP, earlier this year.

However, during the French GP, Schmuchaer crashed at the end of the first lap. But this time around, he set timing in Q2 as well.

Schumacher’s timing read 1:25.200 ahead of the likes of Daniel Ricciardo and teammate Nikita Mazepin.

He could have even pushed for a P13 or even a P12 finish, since Esteban Ocon and George Russell were milliseconds ahead of him.

The son of the legendary Michael Schumacher will now be looking for a top 10 finish in his rookie season.

The Haas F1 team were elated following Schumacher’s brilliant run, and so were the Twitterati.

Here are a few reactions to Schumacher’s impressive qualifying race:

Max Verstappen reacts to his front row start at Turkish GP

Max Verstappen finished third during the qualifying. But, he will be starting in the front row at P2, since his rival Lewis Hamilton, who finished first, will be starting at P11 due to a grid penalty.

Following his finish, Verstappen took to Twitter to react to the same. He seemed content with the result.

‘Super Max’ wrote:

“Overall, I’m pretty happy, starting the race from front row. We made good progress and our qualifying lap was pretty good #KeepPushing#TurkishGP.”
