The team of Marketa Vondrousova and Miriam Kolodziejova produced one of the most memorable wins in this year’s Australian Open when they defeated the team of Zhang Shuai and Beatriz Haddad Maia in the second round.
The Czech duo registered a sensational win against the British duo of Alicia Barnett and Olivia Nicholls in the first round. Vondrousova and Kolodziejova lost the first set but came back strongly to win the match 3-6, 6-3, 7-5. However, this comeback was nothing compared to the one they mustered in the second round.

Vondrousova and Kolodziejova bounced back miraculously from the precarious position to win the match 3-6, 7-6 (11-9), 7-6 (14-12).
The ones who witnessed this match would remember it for a long time. Vondrousova and Kolodziejova have also won in the third round now after defeating the team of Marta Kostyuk and Elena-Gabriela Ruse.
