Fernando Alonso secured an incredible P3 finish for Aston Martin at the Bahrain Grand Prix
Fernando Alonso‘s incredible P3 finish in Bahrain has been the highlight of the opening weekend of the 2023 F1 season. The 41-year-old showed the world that he has still got it in him to challenge the best in the grid and everyone can’t help but admire the Spaniard’s grit and determination. The two-time World Champion joined Aston Martin from Alpine ahead of this season, with an ambition to take the world by storm and the project has certainly got off to an epic start.
A video clip of Alonso celebrating the P3 finish with his Aston Martin colleagues and staff was shared by Formula One official handle on Twitter. It went viral in no time and soon received a response from McLaren driver Lando Norris who labelled Alonso a ‘legend’. Norris had an outing to forget, finishing 17th in Bahrain but it is great to see the mutual respect and admiration among the drivers’.
