The 2021 Hungarian GP saw a nasty opening lap crash sweeping away several racers

A wet Hungaroring saw a chaotic beginning in the very first turn of the first lap. A poor start from Valtteri Bottas saw a coming together between himself and McLaren’s Lando Norris, sending Bottas spinning.

Bottas’ Merc went spinning, and collided right into Sergio Perez, while Norris’ lost control, damaging Max Verstappen.

While Bottas, Perez and Norris couldn’t get back into the game, Verstappen somehow found his way back later.

However, amidst the chaos and confusion was another accident that took place in the first turn. Lance Stroll of the Aston Martin rammed right into Charles Leclerc of Ferrari. Both the drivers couldn’t continue and LeClerc’s Ferrari was moderately damaged with debris spewed all over.

A raging Leclerc blurted out a barrage of expletives on the team radio. He could have done nothing to avoid the crash there, as Stroll rammed into him from behind.

Charles Leclerc who often finds himself unlucky, took to Twitter to express his frustration at Stroll pinning right into his car.

Comparing his opening lap crash at the 2021 Hungarian GP to a bowling game, Leclerc tweeted:

“Nice bowling game. So frustrating.”

Another frustrating day for Ferrari’s front man.
