There is also a celebration event in the game that runs from March 20th – March 25th. There are messages in a bottle that are found around the world which can give access to Legendary loot. This can spice up the exploration aspect for players who feel like the game became stale over time.
There are also tons of cosmetic rewards for gamers including the anniversary gift i.e. a Golden Sailor Capstan. As players complete enough Voyages, they can easily earn the Seaglass Rapier. Another brilliant, limited-time event is that players can earn Double gold, reputation, Guild reputation, and Allegiance. This is a part of the Gold and Glory boosts which is active during the event. Finally, there is also an anniversary sale for players, and they can cosmetics from Sea of Thieves: The Legend of Monkey Island. The Reaper’s Mark Sails and in stock and the free emote i.e. the Conductor can be claimed by all players.
The best part about this update is that the developers are focusing on targeting cheaters and introducing anti-cheat policies. This is a great initiative as a lot of games are being targeted by cheaters and ruining the gaming community.
