About Robin Arzon

In Philadelphia, Robin Arzón was born to a Cuban refugee mother and a Puerto Rican father. Her father was a former law professor and an attorney, while her mother worked long hours as a doctor while learning English by watching PBS.

Sports were never a big part of Arzón’s life because she was urged to place more importance on her schooling and her family. She earned a magna cum laude degree from New York University and a law degree from Villanova University School of Law in 2007. She spent seven years working as a corporate litigator at Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker, LLC. Arzón was held captive alongside 40 other people at a wine bar in Manhattan’s East Village in the summer of 2002, though.

Arzón has now participated in over 50 competitions, including 25 marathons, three 50-mile ultramarathons, and one 100-mile event. In 2012, she left her position in the legal business to work as a freelance sports writer, and she started her career in health and fitness. She writes for magazines including Newsweek and New York Magazine and covered the 2012 London Olympics. She co-founded Undo magazine and the fitness initiative Undo Ordinary in 2013 respectively. In 2014, Arzón began working with Peloton as a teacher. In 2016, he was elevated to Vice President of Fitness and Programming.

In addition to working for Peloton, Arzon also sells Adidas abroad, has a Road Runners Club of America accreditation, and was one of 20 outstanding Americans who trekked the Serengeti for the National Geographic Channel’s MIGRATIONS series. At the Keys100, she also completed her first 100-mile race, and she ran five marathons in five days for MS Run the US.
