Eddie Guerrero Death
Eddie Guerrero died from heart failure due to cardiovascular disease which was undiagnosed prior to his death and his addictions to drugs and painkillers throughout his wrestling career even though he wasn’t taking any before his death. Vickie Guerrero (his former wife) said Eddie was sick the week before he died.
He was found unconscious on the floor of a hotel room in Marriott Hotel City Center in Minneapolis. The paramedics tried to revive him but unfortunately he was already dead.
Eddie Guerrero WWE career
Guerrero was a Cruiserweight star during his WCW days and found it hard to make a name once he moved to WWE at the turn of the century. He soon won the European Championship and his first Intercontinental Championship. His career was marred with controversies as he was arrested for substance abuse and drunk driving and was released.
The American moved to the indie scene winning the WWA Cruiserweight Championship. He won his second Intercontinental Championship after making a return to the company that released him. Soon, he formed the tag team Los Guerreros with Chavo, his nephew winning the WWE Tag Team Championship.
Guerrero is a former Triple Crown and Grand Slam Champion. His final match aired on November 11, 2005 when he faced Mr. Kennedy. The WWE world was shocked and aired a special tribute for the Latino Heat. There were tributes pouring in from all around the world after his sad demise.

Eddie Guerrero married Vickie Guerrero on April 24, 1990 and has two daughters, Shaul Marie and Sherilyn Amber. He seperated from his wife and began a relationship with Tara Mahoney. The couple has a daughter Kaylie Marie after he ended his first marriage.
