The long pending change has been implemented in Counter-Strike 2. Yes, players who prefer to deploy guns in their left hand can relax. The new CS2 update allows players to swap guns and weapons between both hands.
Players can select their preferred handedness from the in-game settings menu. This change in Counter-Strike 2 will be an advantage for many players as it allows you to aim and shoot without much struggle. You can simply tap the controls on your keyboard and swap the weapon to another hand while in a mission as well.
Counter Strike 2 Update – New Patch Notes
The April 2024 update has arrived in Counter-Strike 2 with lots of gameplay changes and bug fixes. Here are all new updates:
Viewmodel
- Viewmodel Bob movement has been adjusted in the new update.
- Couch” viewmodel position setting is deprecated.
- Preferred Viewmodel Left/Right Handedness” is added.
HUD
- A new radar icon has been added for the local player when free cam spectating.
- A kill feed icon for “in-air” kills is available.
- An icon has been added to indicate bots through the scoreboard.
- Radar Map Alternate Zoom setting & Toggle Radar Zoom key binding to toggle between zoom levels during combat will be available.
Gameplay Changes
- A new “dropped weapons” panel is added that will show the dropped weapons by teammates in the zone.
- Added the minimum amount of money to player is guaranteed to have in the next round to the buy menu title bar.
- Increased Zeus movement speed and the attack cone is adjusted as well
- Increased Zeus kill reward from $0 to $100 ($50 in Casual).
- Added gameplay name in panels that previously only showed customized name ( E.g.Inspect screen, inventory tile).
- Overpass will replace Dust 2 in the Active Duty Group, current competition map pool, and Premier matchmaking.
- An ability to launch practice matches and workshop maps with all party members is added.
- An ability to adjust brightness in windowed modes will be available.
- A new Overwatch system to enable match demo review by trusted partners will be available.
