Confirmed line-ups for Chelsea vs Liverpool: Sarri and Klopp make bold decisions
In one of the marquee fixtures of the Premier League season, league leaders Liverpool travel to Stamford Bridge to face one of their title rivals, Chelsea. Both teams have made a fast start to the season, with the Reds boasting a 100% record in the league and the Blues accumulating five wins from six games.
Hence, this could be the game which could decide who goes on to challenge Manchester City for the title this year. Though it is still early into the narrative, if Liverpool win this game, they will have a five-point cushion over Chelsea at the top. On the flip side, if the latter get the job done, they can overtake their opponents in the table.
These two teams met each other in the third round of the EFL Cup at Anfield, with Maurizio Sarri’s men getting the better of the Reds. Both started their fringe players on Wednesday and tested their bench strength. However, expect a tactical battle of the highest order tonight.
