With the first patch of 2022, Call of Duty Mobile is about to enter a new era. With the COD Mobile Season 1: Heist update in 2022, it’s time for a new beginning after 12 seasons spanning 2021. Season 12 will not be the name of the following season, according to Activision.

Season 1: Heist will be the title instead. According to the developers, this name change will take effect in 2022 for all seasons and Ranked Series. So, without further ado, let’s go through the highlights of this significant Christmas update.

On Wednesday, January 19 at 4 p.m. PT | 7 p.m. ET, Season 1 of Call of Duty Mobile: Heist will premiere. CoD Mobile 2022 Season 1 New Weapons

Two new weapons have been added to CoD Mobile Season 1. Based on early features in the Chinese test build, the full patch notes have disclosed exactly what to expect. First up is the Kilo 141 Assault Rifle from Modern Warfare 2019. This AR is a fast-firing rifle with a configurable burst-fire mode, carrying on the CoD Mobile legacy of new MW weaponry.

According to an early look at the test build, it could be a force on any battlefield with a complete variety of attachments. The next weapon is the PPSh41 SMG, which looks to have been taken from Black Ops Cold War. This is a popular SMG in the Call of Duty series, appearing in five different games.

CoD Mobile 2022 Season 1 New Maps

Two new maps have been added to Season 1 of Call of Duty Mobile. One is a unique remake of an old map, while the other is a new remake of a Black Ops 4 classic. Hacienda makes its mobile debut in Season 1. This popular design first appeared in Black Ops 4 and was a popular pick throughout that year’s competitive season. The future update will provide a redesign in addition to the new map. Season 1 introduces Nuketown Temple, a new variant to mark the Lunar New Year.

CoD Mobile 2022 Season 1 Heist Battle Pass

Similar to previous releases, CoD Mobile Season 1 features its own limited-time Battle Pass. This month’s collection, which includes hundreds of tiers to grind through, gives players access to a lot of fresh content.
