The 19-year-old Coco Gauff has been in decent form this year. She reached the French Open final without dropping a set before losing to World No. 1 Iga Swiatek. Currently, the American tennis pro is playing in the ongoing US Open Grand Slam where she has reached the third round.

Coco Gauff is sporting the Coco CG1 shoe at Flushing Meadows and its colorful and attractive design hasn’t gone unnoticed. The price of the shoe is mentioned as $169.99 on the official website of New Balance as of this writing.

Gauff joined forces with the popular American sneaker-making company New Balance and debuted the Coco CG1 last month. New Balance and Gauff first teamed up in 2021 when they unveiled their creative take on the company’s 327 silhouette. In 2022, NB has given the talented youngster her own signature tennis shoe. Gauff has made sure that the design represents her identity as a sister, daughter, and friend.

Who is Coco Gauff’s opponent in the third round of the US Open?

Coco Gauff has reached the third round of the US Open for the second time in her career. She made it to the third round at the 2019 edition of the competition before being ousted by defending champion Naomi Osaka.

Gauff began her US Open 2022 campaign with a comprehensive win against Leolia Jeanjean. She won the match 6-2, 6-3. In the second round, the 12th-seeded Gauff got the better of Elena-Gabriela Ruse in straight sets 6-2, 7-6 (7-4).

Because of that win, Gauff has set up a clash with fellow American Madison Keys in the third round. The 27-year-old has defeated Dayana Yastremska and Camila Giorgi to en route to the third round.
