Baez produced a dominating performance to win the encounter in straight sets 6-4, 6-3. He had an impressive win percentage of 83 on the first serve. He also wasn’t broken in the entire match.

Laslo Djere

The Serbian star has made it to the quarterfinals of a tournament for the second time in 2023. He opened his campaign against Portuguese veteran Joao Sousa in the first round. The one-sided contest ended 6-3- 6-2 in favor of Djere who had a win percentage of 82 on the first serve and 87 on the second serve. He also hit 6 aces in the tie.

In the round of 16, he smashed 8 aces and saved 5 break points to defeat Riccardo Bonadio in a closely contested two-set battle that ended 7-5, 7-5.
