Nate Diaz’s teammate who got into an altercation with Sean O’Malley fights on the Diaz vs. Paul event

Sean O’Malley’s UFC 276 night might have been marked by a disappointing fight outcome, but the afterparty took an unexpected turn when he crossed paths with Nate Diaz and his entourage. On an episode of TimboSugarShow, O’Malley and his coach Tim Welsh recounted the tense moment that unfolded at the club.

According to O’Malley, a member of Nate Diaz’s crew attempted to spark trouble during the encounter. However, O’Malley was quick to acknowledge the respectful attitude of the majority of Diaz’s entourage. Gilbert Melendez and Jake Shields were among those who showed camaraderie, diffusing any tension between the two groups.

Despite the cordial atmosphere, Nate Diaz seemed disinterested in engaging with O’Malley, which was understandable considering the individual in question was likely a close friend of the Stockton native. O’Malley’s impression of Diaz was that he remained true to his character, staying true to the enigmatic persona he is known for.

But it wasn’t just O’Malley who faced the unnamed agitator’s antics. Deiveson Figueiredo, the flyweight champion, also found himself caught in the crosshairs of the troublemaker. The incident left O’Malley taken aback, as he expressed surprise at the confrontation’s intensity.

The fighter who engaged with O’Malley and Deiveison Figueiredo was Luciano Ramos, who trains with Nate Diaz at the Nick Diaz Academy.

Ramos posted a video on Instagram of him getting into a heated exchange with the UFC stars. Luciano Ramos will fight CJ Hamilton in the opening fight of the Paul vs. Diaz card in the super lightweight division.
