Jake Paul reacted to the possibility of fighting Canelo Alvarez

Jake Paul has been creating waves in the Boxing world for the last couple of years. Although the purists are nowhere close to being his fan, he has surely brought a ton of eyeballs to the sport (especially the YouTube audience).

Having made his debut in January 2020, Paul beat the likes of YouTuber AnesonGib and former Basketballer Nate Robinson before going on to fight combat sports opponents – Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley.

Paul knocked out Ben Askren in the first round before beating Woodley twice – once via. split decision and the other, a brutal KO win.

He is currently 5-0 up in his professional boxing career.

Paul also makes sure that he calls out big names to stay in the spotlight. And, one such big name is Mexican boxing champ Canelo Alvarez.

Although, it is highly likely Paul will fight Alvarez in the near future, there have been rumors of the pair sharing the ring.

Boxing reporter Michael Benson recently reported that Alvarez’s next opponent might be someone the Boxing purists will not like. It was first reported by ESPN reporter Salvador Rodriguez.

Paul quote tweeted the same and posted three ice-cold emojis.

Jake Paul earned a staggering $40 million in the year 2021 alone. The list was released by Forbes. His massive earnings saw him enter the YouTube rich list for the year 2021. He came in at number 2.

Despite his fights not selling the expected numbers, ‘The Problem Child’ has been making sure he gets paid to the fullest.
